How to bump something that needs to be done to the top of the list?

I'm currently using sticky at top of lists. Can I add a button that triggers this to the view?
When a chore log is added, remove the sticky flag.

Any quick edit modules I can use here?
I could add a Views Add Button in the table, which opens a Core log storage entity form.
Adding a log to a pinned chore should unpin it.
Use Flag and ECA, or Workflow Buttons to move items between pinned and unpinned.
Resolution
Used Activity Link for pin/unpin. Had to render the entity in the view, and created a Links display mode.
