Context
Currently using facets to provide a hierarchical select filter.
You have to select a top level item, then the filter updates with the children.
This can be confusing.
Questions
Can we add additional dropdowns when each level is selected?
Can we have a list of links for the top level?
With dependent facets, can I move them to a second row of filters, so they don't move them when expanded?
Discovery
New commits in Facets 3.x adds support for dependent facets.
Need a way to place the facets so the dependent facets that get added as you make selections don't move other filters around.

Added patch for selecting multiple levels.
Changes were experimental and not applied to the site.
